Who we are?

First and foremost, we are devotees of Maa Tara. Guided by devotion and tradition, we are a group of priests dedicated to the service of Tara Mata. With the aim of providing a reliable, transparent, and genuine system of puja offerings for devotees across the world, we established this platform under Tarapith Puja Services (Proprietor: Souvik Chatterjee).

Through our service, we collect the puja details from devotees and perform the rituals at the sacred Tarapith temple with full devotion and according to traditional procedures. After the puja is completed, photographs of the rituals are shared with devotees via email. Once all essential puja procedures are concluded and the sacred items are properly packed, the prasad is carefully couriered to the devotee’s address. We serve not merely as priests, but as fellow devotees.

For centuries, millions of devotees have carried an unshakable belief that no one returns empty-handed after offering puja and prayers at Tarapith. It is believed that Maa Tara listens to the sincere prayers of her devotees and blesses them with the fulfillment of their wishes.

Kali is revered as one of the principal deities of Bengal—powerful, compassionate, and profound. The Divine manifests in many forms, each with distinct roles and divine expressions, guiding devotees on different spiritual paths.

According to sacred tradition, various parts of Goddess Sati’s body fell across the Indian subcontinent during Lord Shiva’s Rudra Tandava, giving rise to the revered Shakti Peethams.

Among these, Tarapith holds a sacred place as one of the 52 Shakti Peethams of India, radiating spiritual energy, faith, and timeless devotion.

Lets talk about Tarapith Temple

Located about 264 km from Kolkata, Tarapith lies on the banks of the north-flowing Dwarka River in the Birbhum district of West Bengal. This sacred land has, for centuries, drawn seekers, devotees, and saints into its powerful spiritual embrace.

Maa Tara of Tarapith, a revered form of Goddess Kali, is depicted with two hands, adorned with sacred threads and garlanded with serpents. Lord Shiva rests upon her left lap, symbolizing the eternal union of creation and dissolution. The temple is dedicated to the fierce and transformative aspect of the Divine Mother—an aspect that represents the destruction of evil and the renewal of cosmic balance. In keeping with age-old ritual traditions, daily sacrificial offerings are made at the temple altar as part of prescribed worship practices.

The temple remains vibrant and active throughout the year. It is surrounded by humble devotees and seekers, many of whom receive free meals as part of the long-standing tradition of service and compassion. Every year, millions of devotees visit Tarapith to offer puja and prayers, making it one of the most revered pilgrimage centers in India.

Tarapith is regarded as a Mahapeeth, an exceptionally sacred seat of Shakti, and holds a deeply significant place in Hindu spirituality. It is believed that wherever one may be in the world—regardless of background or faith—the grace and compassion of Maa Tara reach all sincere and upright souls. Devotees believe that she relieves pain, removes obstacles, and grants peace to the heart and mind.

It is this boundless compassion and timeless faith that draws countless devotees to Tarapith year after year, seeking blessings, strength, and divine guidance at the feet of the Mother.
